ESPAÑOL: Arquivolta se consolidó en 2009 en la Ciudad de México por Mike García, Leo Díaz, Kbto, Gabo Ponce de León y Ganso Mena. El proyecto inicialmente proponía un extraño estilo musical progresivo-funk en un ensamble con dos bajos y un sintetizador de guitarra. Sin embargo, el tiempo y la experiencia han hecho que la música evolucione en algo mucho más definido, energético e impactante. Arquivolta fue ganador de uno de los 5 concursos Sennheiser Hear.I.Am en PïcktheBand.com y actualmente se encuentra concursando en la final por la grabación de un EP en Nueva York firmado por Universal Republic. ENGLISH: Arquivolta was formed in 2009 in Mexico City by Mike García, Leo Díaz, Kbto, Gabo Ponce de León, and Ganso Mena. The project was first conceived as a bizarre, progressive funk, double bass and guitar-synth ensemble. However, time and experience has now made the music evolve into a much more defined, energetic, and powerful one. Arquivolta won the Sennheiser Hear.I.Am contest @ PicktheBand.com and is currently competing in the finals for the recording of an EP in New York, and its distribution through Universal Republic.
