Once Pure offers a style of music that is categorized in the genre of metal that is on the rise. With fast, choppy, grooving riffs, filled with synchronized double bass and precision drumming, Once Pure has created a foundation for a style that brings you in your face break downs with layered guitar melodies. The vocals being highly influenced by all cultures, there is a variety of expeditions ranging from the rhythms and patterns of hip-hop, to the melody filled choruses, and the vein pulsing screams that enable you to envision the message and stories that Once Pure is sharing for individuals to relate to.
 Once Pure not only brings the technical music to the stage when performing, but they also bring an entertaining show that will get the crowd to join in on the adventure. With numerous choreographed aspects to their stage presence, Once Pure creates a show that sends vibes to the crowd enabling them to experience the grooving riffs that make you want to nod your heads, throw your hands in the air, and sway side to side.
During the Spring / Summer of 2004 their first album "Straight-Jacket Romance" evolved and was recorded with Joe Viers at Schwab Studios in Columbus, Ohio and then released in November.
Their second endeavor sent them back to Schwab Studios with Joe V. in the fall of 2006 to lay down tracks for their next album. Their hard work had paid off.
"Closing The Chapter" had enabled the band to do what they like best...and that is to deliver to their fans the music that has made them what they are today.
The winter of 2008 marked the release of their most current material with their EP entitled, “Alone in This.” One of the tracks, “Belong in the Dirt,” featured guest vocals from Noah Robinson from the band Bleed the Sky. This EP is currently being shopped around in hopes of landing a deal and continuing the dream even further.
Once Pure intends to prove that you don’t have to come from a big city to make it in the music industry. With three albums completely funded and distributed on their own, they are anxious to take the next step and release their first album on a label. Their goals include but are not limited to: releasing albums on a label and having them distributed worldwide, continue touring in support of their efforts, shoot music videos as promotion, tour overseas in Europe
 Once Pure has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such bands as: Chimaira, All That Remains, Bleed The Sky, Silent Civilian, 40 Below Summer,Walls of Jericho, Dope, Twelve Tribes, Nonpoint, Six Feet Under, 3 Inches of Blood, Straightline Stitch, Bobaflex, Fivebolt Main, Ekotron, Within Chaos.
