Adam Ezra Groupis a dynamic roots/rock band that has risen to the top of the Boston music scene. Their unique blend of roots, pop and rock sounds, perfectly combines Ezra's passion for smart well written lyrics and the band's tight musicianship; bringing their sound together with rich, complex, and hook-laden melodies. The band's energy live is now legendary as Adam and the group ignite the stage with a captivating charisma that has been compared to that of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

"After 2 hours of almost nonstop playing… Adam Ezra gives everything he has to the audience. Not since Springsteen and Bono have I seen a lead singer with his talent and charisma." – Jack Casey General Manager WERS 88.9

VIEW FROM THE ROOT
is the band's first national studio release. It is an eclectic bundle of songs that are brought to life with a range of styles and sounds that powerfully reflect Ezra's message.

Adam adds, "It's a batch of writing from an era in my life that is colored by intensity, passion, humor, embarrassment, frustration, and elation. While we thrive on diversity of sound and style, we also wanted to make sure the album felt like a cohesive project; something people can listen to front to back and feel like the band is telling them one story."

"Vision", "Flyin", "Kill Like This", all deal with the trials of being an impoverished musician. The politically driven "Basement Song" with its sharp beat and honest lyrics brings you inside Ezra's world view from his basement apartment in the wee hours, clearly defining his views on government and society. "Vision", is Ezra's personal anthem of how he would like to walk through the world, inspiring positive change. In many ways, it's the theme song to this album, the opening line "I will learn that I can trust my vision til the end of time" sums up the Adam Ezra Group's motivation behind their performing together and all around collaboration as a band. They truly exemplify the passion of each song on a daily basis, devoting a portion of their touring schedule to events promoting various charities and community activism.

The Group has been selling out shows across the country, including the Mercury Lounge in New York City and their now legendary sold out CD release show at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston (where the band had one of their fans, Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith, join them on stage). AEG is building their fan base nationally, having shared the stage with the likes of John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Rusted Root, Cracker, Robert Randolph and the Family Band amongst many others. Recently they have been invited to play several festivals such as Boston's Earthfest (MA), Rothbury (MI), Wildflower (TX), Download (MA), Nateva (ME), Lowell Folk Fest (MA), Naukabout (MA), Hookfest (NH), and Oyster Ridge (WY). It is certain that the Release of "View From The Root" will help the band continue to build their fans across the nation and continue their rise to becoming one of the country's most talked about live bands.
